The truth about Smartwater
I went to an outdoor yoga event tonight that was sponsored in part by Smartwater, and when the instructor was giving thanks during the closing meditation, she thanked Smartwater for its electrolytes. Though I too was grateful for the delicious water, I couldn’t help but remember a Smartwater electrolyte irony:

It’s early June. We’re out late, at a bar in the west village. The music is good, fun. And then we hear Mariah Carey, and the sound of sleigh bells. It’s a Christmas song, from that movie, Love Actually. We’re confused, but before long we’re singing along.

On the train home tonight a kid was selling candy to raise money for his education (or so I assume, I wasn’t really listening until I heard the “candy” part) and announced that:
